Why GETNB exists
Girls Exploring Trades New Brunswick is a non-profit working to close the gender gap in the skilled trades. Women make up only 3% of tradespeople in New Brunswick, while the province faces a projected shortage of more than 12,000 finishing trades workers by 2030.

Inspired by Techsploration's success in Nova Scotia, we give women and girls exposure to the trades, encouragement from women already working in them, and a clear path into good jobs.
